I had to replace the cam, its a 440 .030, 3,000lb car. 4.15 stroke, 12 to 1 comp, indy EZ's 295 CNC'D, indy single plane, solid roller cam, 1050 dom. The queston is that I had a comp solid roller Grind # crb3 rx296-r8 it is .650 gross lift and duration @ .020 is 296/303. I replaced the cam with Gind # crb3 283r-8 the gross lift is .660 and duration @ .020 is 283/291. Am I going to notice a big difference or et difference losing some of the duration?
