Has anyone out there come across a set of headers that will work with power steering and a 4 speed without having to modify the clutch linkages? I was looking at summit's, flowtechs, and headman headers but most of them specify that they won't fit power steering and will require linkage modifications.

I don't want to take a hammer to a new set of headers to get them to fit right. I would prefer them fitting in without any mods at all. Any suggestions?

I'm looking at these for my 71' Roadrunner with a 383.

I suppose that you didn't want to spend the money for a set of TTI pipes? They cost more because they are the best.

I am running a set of "Hooker Competition" on a 67 b-body with a 440 and a automatic and they fit fine no dents or hammering.

You went thru this on the small block question..why drag it here?? The Doug's headers work well and FIT.

Well I'm using Hooker headers and I think they are the worst fitting headers I've ever used on my 69 charger 500 440 . I had to take the motor almost out change the starter and they hit the torions bars plus ya have too take apart the tie rods on the drivers side to install. Stay clear of those! I've heard doug's and ITT are the best

I am also running a brand new set of ceramic coated Hooker Comp 1 7/8 on my 70 Charger RT,RB engine and they fit excellent! Didnt have to dent them one bit or alter anything!

My car is a 4speed,Firmfeel 1.06 torsion bars, mini starter with Lakewood Scattershield,Source aluminum heads. I couldnt have asked for a better fit!

Although I think even Schumachers require mods to fit 4 speeds.

I put a set of summit cheapies on the 440 in my 74 satellite. Had to ding them on 3 places. Two tiny dings around the power steering box and one ding on the passenger side. But the passenger side is a specific issue to 73-74 b-body cars converted from small block to big block. For the price and ease of install, I would do them again any day.
