8Valves, any time you want to make me an intake that would be fine!!!!



Engine is in. Ignition, electrical, cooling are done. Need to do fuel, turbo, exhaust and misc connections.

It's alive!!! Need to fix one small oil leak and one water drip.

No issues on break-in otherwise...fired on about 1/2 a crank.

Cant wait to hear results! Nice work.

More progress lastnight. All the leaks are buttoned up. Retorqued the head & relashed the cam. Should be on the road real soon. I still have a few small things to take care of.

Went for a "Sunday morning" drive today. This was the first time out of the garage since the initial break-in last Sunday.

Glad to report I put on 20 uneventful miles. Outside Temp was 82F before I got out. Water never got over 180f and oil was 180f when I was done. I was worried with the partial fill I did.

Lots of part throttle 10-15 psi and coast downs to make sure ring seat in is complete. Only did 2 wots but thet were for a second at most. The car feels super strong.

AFR were good but want to go over my PVCR and jetting again. Timing is real conservative at 17* total.

I have been watching this with interest as I have a Demon in mind with a six in it.

What octane/fuel are you using?

I run a mix of 111 & 93 octane on the street and at the track I'll run it down while driving there and dump in 5 gal of 111 octane.

Sorry, slow on pics and stuff. have about 70 miles one the new engine. My seat dyno has never been that accurate but the car feels as stong as before if not better with 3-4* less advance and 13 less PSI of boost. Obviously the new engine flows better than the old. The new engine revs to 6000 (and keeps pulling where the old one was done at about 4500rpm.
