Get it together and drive it ONCE and then let us know how you feel about it.

No kidding, looks to me like all the hard work had already been done. Mounting the turbos and welding up the exhaust piping has to be the most labor/time intensive part of the job. Here's another vote for forcing yourself to finish it to at least get the motor running with the turbos. You might change your mind after. And if not, it's worth more $ with the conversion completed rather than part way.

Put a cover over it and leave it alone for a while and go do something else to amuse yourself. The desire will come back.

mine is nowhere near close to being finished. major starter problem i have had to shim a starter to get it to work on it been fighting it all week now going to have to pull the motor back out and probably buy a another convertor tired of wrenching on it and my wife is about to tear the whole side out of it going by it everyday. thats why im thinking of putting a b-1 motor and glide in it

I hear ya'. This stuff can be aggrivating.

But, if you switch to a N/A and 'glide combo, do you KNOW that there won't be some glitch somewhere that will cheese you off?

In my experience, every non-standard piece that gets bolted onto a car has about a 50/50 shot of not requiring extra work. Unless it's headers... those almost never work OOTB.

I'd think carefully before selling. Will you make a profit on the parts you unload? Break even? How much money are you willing to throw away?

Just to spend $$$ on another combo that has a uncertain chance of having one or more things take work.

Your money, your choice.

Well compared to mine it is. I spent the weekend stripping paint out of my engine bay. Still have a motor and transmission that need going through, then I've got to fight with some custom brackets, fuel system, the list goes on and on. At least with yours you can see the light at the end of the tunnel, even if you have to deal with some annoying setbacks.

The starter problem is of no fault to the turbo setup. Finish it, then you will be glad you saved your money.

The car will haul the mail.
