Were you able to work the hood to better fit the fenders? I know the original AAR and T/A hoods always had a nasty bow in them that was nearly impossible to remove.
I never tried to tweak the hood at all. I just used the adjustment at the hinges and at the front rubber stops to make fit as best as possible. There's not much to these hoods. They are light as a feather and thin fibreglass, so I was nervous about tweaking it. On another note, because of the fresh air intake and the cowl vent, the car runs cooler than with the rally hood... bonus!

Thanks for the input everyone. I too have a T/A (original) and I fight the poor fitting, mid fender line all the time. I have seen that problem alot with the factory hoods, perhaps because they did spend alot of time in the sun. I looked in my Year One catalog and they are now over $700 bones. I know they usualy have the discount cards going out so I guess I will have to wait for one. Any other source for the AAR style hood other then Y.O. that I should look at??
I just got my T/a hood in Dec of 09 from year one. If you enter the moparts15 code plus get some buddies together to hit $1000 order. i think the hood cost around $570 for shipped to my door.

Just a little input about the stock AAR hood fit. My friend worked at the factory when they were installing the AAR hoods on the cars. He said that some had so much bow in them that they had to set the front and rear corners low just to close up the gap in the center. It wasn't the sun causing the problem the hoods were bad straight from the supplier. Just my
I'm more inclined to believe the hoods were a problem from the start seeing how crude they were made. I have two original T/A hoods with the same "bow" problem, I sliced in front of the hinge support plate and bowed the hood down and reglassed it for a much better fit.
