Why use gaskets at all? In many cases no gasket was used. if the mating surfaces are flat and true, you don't need one.
I've had a few leaking gaskets on manifolds over the years (gaskets that other folks have installed) and the manifolds don't seem to seal up after removing the gasket, and they are visibly pitted from the gaskets (those 'quilted' metal gaskets, anyway).
Sometimes 80-grit on a DA saved them, sometimes not.
Try them without gaskets, and if they don't leak run 'em as-is.
Parts I seek:
driver doorpanel, 65 Sport Fury, prefer black, needs to be 7-8 on 10 scale, might buy set
16" x 6" Dodge truck wheel(s), from early 70s?, takes 9" dogdish - need for a research job so cheaper is better.
69-73 C-body caliper brackets and/or splashields
Send a PM.
