My helmet has a Snell M95 sticker in it. Will it pass tech? My car runs high 11's.

I was afraid you would say that.
Is anyone using the G-Force helmets that Summit sells? Are they any good? I noticed they are Snell 2005 rated. I only hit the track a couple times a year so I am not looking to break the bank....but then again I want to make sure my melon is adequately protected.
One more question....is it ok to run an open face or should I stick with a full face helmet?

Will they even take a 2000 anymore? In any case, I use a m2005 open face. I see no reason to run the full face in the car. I've had local shops tell friends that you can't get a snell approved open face, but that is obviously not true

shop around online .... or buy a $250 helmet anywhere.
i got a new M2000 snell motocross helmet online for $40 + shipping.
Im not worried about bumping my noggin due to the foam padding on my cage , the mint condition helmet, and the fact that i HAVE MINT CONDITION NEW FANCY 5 POINT BELTS THAT IM FORCED TO REPLACE EVERY 2 YEARS.
(just another Nhra scam like the new "trans dipstick" rule...)
oh...sorry for the rant...

Well....I did some searching and ended up ordering the HJC CL-16 full face helmet. It is Snell 2010 rated and I got it for $109 and change from helmetcity.com with a discount code. Here is a link to it... http://www.helmetcity.com/page/HC/PROD/cl16solids-nd/hjc-cl-16-matteblackI went with the full face because it can double as my winter ATV helmet. With the Snell 2010 rating I think I read it is good through 2027...which is nice.

I switched over to a full face helmet. Even though you are strapped in and can't reach anything with your face, there are plenty of things that could come loose and start flying around on a hard crash and/or rollover. Fire bottle, delay box, MSD box, window glass, or a dozen other things. Probably won't ever need it, but if you ever do ...........
