The 70 and up are taller. There raised up in the center section. Change might have been 71 but i think they started in 70

so other then all the extra tabs..these would be correct height for a 70 car

no,that is not right for a -70.70 and 71 covers are pretty much like earlyer covers except relocated fill holes and pvc,and then the 71 got a bump in front/top of the driver side cover.so im thinking those covers are later than 71,but would look periodic great cause DC sold the chrome-covers that i think looks exactly like that but without tabs.so go for it.dont buy chinese/india repro covers, those are great.my opinion

also, those pictured covers have all the holes in the right places for a 70 valve cover.as in oil- fill hole, pcv, airbreather.but the raised middle section is wrong.

they look allmost exactly to mines on 74 Charger... but not that tall.

passenger side has on mines some tabs for number 8 spark plug wire instead the intermediate looms ( 2º and 4º )

Those are 74and up covers, maybe late 73 and up , but definitely NOT 70 covers , open your wallet WIDE for a set of correct 70 covers .
