I finally got the motor and tranny back in my Roadrunner after 2 years! Now I can't remember how the column shift linkage or kickdown go back together. Does anyone have a diagram or good pics? Thanks!

Now does anyone know why my new / used TCI torque converter doesn't bolt up to my stock 383 flex plate. I knew it took the larger bolts so I drilled out the holes in the flex plate before I put it back on. But now I have the motor and tranny back in the car and I go to bolt up the converter and the holes don't line up!

You probably already did this, but did you spin the flex plate all the way around? It only lines up one way.

Yeah I tried that, but it seems like the TCI has a smaller bolt pattern than the stock flex plate.

The TCI converter likely has the 10" bolt circle and your flexplate has an 11" bolt circle. Factory flexplates come in either size.

Yeah you are exactly right. I ended up ordering an aftermarket one from KMJ Performance for 39.99.
