7t8warlock, your truck is really nice. I like the 1979 and later hood with the 1978 grill. Black is the best color for 1972-1980 Dodge trucks. Thanks for posting more pictures.

I boxed the rear frame rails and mounted the stock spring hangers on the inside of the frame. Stock left side would go on the boxed right inside and vice versa. I also C notched it, since I used 3" lowering blocks. I never had a problem with the blocks, but if I were to do it all over again, I would just raise the leaf spring mounts 2-3" to eliminate such a big block.
I'll see if I got a pic of that, all my old pics are in paper form. It's so much easier now a days! HA

You guys have re-inspired me. I started my 84 RC project years ago but just lost interest. After seeing your trucks, I'm getting the bug again. I'm actually getting excited about it. Here's some pics so far. http://www.dotphoto.com/Go.asp?l=wedgeheaded&P=&AID=6155131&Pres=Y

Pretty sure its bagged aswell as the station wagon. Static drop wouldn't drive well with roads the way they are

His dad's truck has cop wheels with some modified rally centers bolted in them.

Looks great, I have a two-tone 82 and am going for a very similar look.

Question: are those stock 15x7 police wheels? I have several 15x7's but was wondering about getting a set of 15x8s for the rear from Wheel Vintiques but if the ones pictured are 15x7s I'll go with the ones I have. What rear tires are those?
Thanks,

Joel

Joel,

Now that you mentioned it? I think he did have his rear cop wheels widened. Will have to ask him the size tire he is running. Will get back to you on that.
