I am converting my 73 Challenger to a four speed and have a few questions on how the linkage goes.

1) Z-bar - does the larger "plate" protruding from the bar go near the inner finder or bellhousing?

2) Clutch pedal rod - does the longer end from the bend in the rod go towards the z bar or pedal?

3) Clutch pedal rod firewall boot - does the point go towards the engine compartment or interior?

4)Ball Studs - the reproduction units I bought one has a wider base that is not as thick and one has a narrow thicker base. Which goes on the bell and which goes on the frame bracket?

Thanks for all the help!

I really dont know the correct way but as long as it lines up and give you the proper throw length it wont matter. make it work. sorry no ones give a better answer than that.

I'm not trying to be difficult, it comes naturally....
