I need to find a resonably -->quiet<-- 3500 - 4000 watt generator for the compartment. I know Hondas are quiet, but I spent all my money on the trailer. Can you help? Thanks Tom

WadeMetzinger top fuel Joined: Feb 2004 Posts: 2,073 Tulsa, Ok	I wouldn't go with anything else but Honda. Nothing is as quite or dependable. You'll regret anything else you buy in about 30 days after you buy something that isn't a Honda. EU3000is is the only way to go.

Chassisman master Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 3,749 Chowchilla,ca	I bought 2 Honda EU2000's.....linked them together to make a 4000...but it's also nice to have a smaller 2000 for tailgating or other uses...the 3000 was too bulky for moving around.

Thanks Tom Hey Tom, I would agree with the rest Honda and Yamaha make a great quiet inverter style generator, BUT like you said if you don't have the budget right now take a look at the Champion 3500/4000 generator. I have one and can recommend it very highly, yep it�s a Chinese knock of a Honda engine. CPE offers excellent customer service and parts should you need them are available. This unit is not Honda quiet but it is not Briggs Stratton load, some where in the middle at I believe 68db. You can find these for around $300-$350. I have bought and sold many onan gen. on craigs list,currently have an onan 6500kv in my trailer,its very quiet and runs all day on about six gallons.a used onan 4000 kv can be had for way under 1g. used!!!
