Has anyone ever run the Performer RPM camshaft in a small block with 1.6 ratio rocker arms. Edelbrock states to use stock rocker ratios only. I am trying to understand why?

Personally have built the Edelbrock performer RPM package, and it is streetable.

Why , because the edelbrock packages were done without guesswork. The cam timing/lift and runner/intake volumes have all been calculated to provide the best possible combination. More is not more. Unless you build it for more.

If you think, that cause you throw a 1.6 ratio arm on you get more power, that is wrong. The entire combination makes the power, not the most intake lift.

Also the RPM heads flow excellent without them.
