garymendy OP mopar G Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 425 ne ohio	does anyone know where i would look to see if my '68 coronet 318 has a numbers matching engine and the trans too for that matter? i looked on the right side underneath and didn't see anything. thanks a bunch! garymendy@yahoo.com

Should be found if it has it 90 degrees to the pan sealing surface on a flat pad if it had one. Also look for the casting date in big bold numbers on the side of the block. I am not causing global warming, I am just trying to hold off a impending Ice Age!
