if you have drum brakes the master cylinders are the same. the firewall plates are different and you'll need a push rod.

you can make the plate with a template from the foam rubber gasket that the vac booster has

an adjustable brake rod from master power brakes is about 30$ and very good piece

I made a plate from 1/8 steel drilled 4 holes to mount to the fire wall and drilled 2 holes for MC

all holes need to be drilled in the fire wall

when I removed the vac booster there was a foam gasket with all the hole but the 2 for the MC that I drilled

I bought just the adjustable rod from master power brake for mine so it should be avalable by its self

you are looking at the wrong adaptor, that is to replace a 4 bolt mc with a 2 bolt one

sorta the asame thing but not

do you need a couple pics of mine?

I can send it to your email

in the master link that is the right rod but wrong adaptor plate

you dont need and adaptor plate..you need a plate to renforce the firewall so it wont rip thur the thin wall when stomping on the brakes

I even bumped my 4 bolts up to 1/2 and used 2 allen head bolts and lock nuts for the mc

should be able to use the 4 holes that the booster used and just drill the 2 for the mc

Ok...

What you need is the Manual brake firewall plate for your body style and year - got one at Moparfest last year for $20 from the guys from Quebec. They had a bunch.

Your iron 4-bolt m/c will bolt up to this plate but if you switch to an aluminum m/c then you need the adapter.

You can jimmy your "power" plate to work. Cut a piece of metal to fill the big hole and weld it in place. Line your m/c's bottom holes up with the bottom holes in the plate and drill two holes to match the m/c's top holes. Measure and bore a hole big enough for the m/c's flange to fit through.

You should also try to find the rubber boot that seals the back of the m/c.

The brake rod is sold separately - try Mancini's for either the standard or adjustable. Or find one off any Mope and make your own adjustable.
