yes you are correct. went on ebag and found one that looks exactly like it and the number on it is 2962688. it said is was for 71 gtx

You can rule out anything later than 1972. Somewhere around then the bumper jacks came with a spade that fit into a rectangular slot in the bumper. No jack hook necessary.
