Recently joined moparts. There seems to be a lot of knowledgable guys here. I had a 528 maxx Hemi built for my 1972 cuda. I had him use the dominator intake and am running 1050 holley dominator. Problem is hood clearance. I have a 3 inch cowl induction hood and had only about 3 1/2 inches of clearance for air cleaner. Question-if i changed to two 4 barrel with lower intake, would i have about same power as the dominator. i would be able to install much bigger air cleaner.

The Stage V intake makes pretty good power but I don't know how it compares to a single Dominator. Talk to Tim at FHO to see what he says. FHO will also have special air cleaners for the Stage V intake.

Why not just drop the K member 3/4" or so?

Arruzza performance sells a 1/4" shorter stage v intake if you want even more hood clearance.
