I used a stock LA 360 gasket set for the pan and it worked fine. don't remember a problem like that.
sorry, no idea other than you got the wrong gaskets?
Well I had thought that at first but I have two different gasket sets from two different manufacturers and they are both too long?

I'm starting to think I might...
The mr gasket cam swap gasket kit is labeled for a 340/360 engine (came with two front oil pan seals, side rails and one rear seal).
But the milodin kit was only listed for a 360...

With the 360 pan you need the 360 LA gasket....from the photo, it seems like you have the front seal at the rear.......... Got the same set up..
Dan
BTW.....340 and 360 do not share the same pan gasket and seal!!
