Since B&M and Hurst now seem to be the same company, between the Pro-Ratchet shifter and the Pro-Matic/Quicksilver- which would make the better long-term shifter in a street car? I like the idea of the aluminum housing on the Pro-Ratchet, nothing to rot or fade. But the 1-lever mechanism on the Pro-Matic seems like it would be more user-friendly, looks like on the Pro-Ratch you have a seperate lock-out handle to mess with every time?
