Just a question because I know many who have not
changed their cam bearings with a cam change. I think mine have all of 200 miles (at the most) on
them and I'm considering a lower profile cam.

bout the ONLY time cam bearings are changed is if they are damaged or you are having the block hot tanked. They are lightly loaded and well lubed. Your's are fine

Just don't chip them when you remove and replace the cam and you'll be fine.
