Cheatham OP mopar C Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 456 corpus christi tex	Im wanting a rear tire preferably as tall as possible. i have a stock width rear and stock width frame rails and 10in wide wheel,currently mounted is a 29x10 section width 13in. my concern is if i were to go with a tire with a section width of 14-14.5 in is will it fit? i know it will be close but is it a safe close? right now i have an 1 1/4 from sidewall to frame. outside of tire is no clearance issuse, it on a 73 Dart.id like to get about 96-99in of roll out, i see a tire with 103in but that maybe too much, i see Hoosier has a 29.5x30.5 with a sec. of 13in and 96in rollout. i know some of you guys got some good info on this. I have a 72 duster with 8 3/4,stock leafs in the stock location. I have 15x8 rims with 28x11.5 QTP's. My tires did rub the leafs a little,so I put on a 1" wheel spacers and fixed that problem. If I had gone with a 10" rims,I think I could of went with a wider tire. I think you will be pushing the limit on 14" or 14.5" wide. just my
