Hey guys,
I have a buddy that is restoring a 67' Barracuda and he thought he had the torsion bars marked when he pulled it apart, but he can't tell now. He has is back together, but we are not sure if they are installed correctly. Is there any way of telling which side and direction they go back together? Thanks a bunch!

I just put the bars in with the numbers to rear, and if one number is even, I put that one on right side of car.

Odd part numbers go in the left side, even on the right. Doesn't matter which end is forward, twist direction will be the same.

Yup...so true. I always remember it by thinking "the driver is nuts" (odd) when it comes to the odd-even number thing

Most every bar I've seen has a L or an R as part of the #.
