Every one I got in my tranny kits was an O ring and they never leaked. Kinda of a bear to get in some times though. They do look flat when they've been installed for a long time.

The o-ring picture at the NAPA site seems to thin. How fat are the ones you got? I guess it would flatten as they aged... It would seem they would have to be like 3/16" thick to work.

Since you have the specs, seems you could also go to Ace Hardware (replace with you favorite local hardware or warehouse home improvement store) and get a couple or three; one size up and down and one, spot on.

I'm not sure that's fat enough but I guess I could go look.

My old truck trans leaked from the tube even with a new seal. I found it had a small crack where the "O" ring goes. I put some Mopar black AFT sealer on it, and it never leaked again (That sealer rocks!)

FWIW, I has some of the Black sealer sitting in the garage because that is all Mopar uses to seal the trans pans on my '97 Chrysler Concord. They don't bother with gaskets on those

thanks...Wil Bill is going to send me one.

I don't know why parts stores don't carry them. I went to NAPA, Autozone and Advance. Maybe They just don't know what I'm talking about and if it's not in their computer they can't help you...
