I am converting my front drum to disc and I found a dodge diplomat with front disc that I was thinking of using. I dont have any vacuum for power brakes so they will be manual. Has anyone done this conversion? And what kind of master did you use? And did it bolt directly to the firewall? I am mostly going to be drag racing it and very little street driving. It should be running around 10.50 range. Is this going to be enough brake with my stock drums in the rear? I eventually plan to change the rears to disc but im just trying to get it to the track this summer.Any other ideas would be great also.

Get them and the PP valve. Then get a master for a 69 C body manual disc brakes.I have that on my 65.Stops great at 120.I use ceramic pad on mine. The master will bolt right on.Rocky

Only master I'd use is the late model aluminum one. They don't rust and they save a bunch of weight.

That's the same setup that's going in my brothers 66 charger. Upgraded to discs in front with stock drums in back. Manual brakes with the modern style aluminum master cyl and an adapter to bolt it onto the firewall.
