Call me stupid, but how on earth do you install the 4 screws located in the defrost openings? There was only one when I removed it and took me over 2 hours to get it out.

Tried a 3 inch phillips, a socket and swivel connector with phillips head inserted. It's too close to glass, I can't get my fingers to set the screw.

Never heard of that. I'll have to go to Napa in the morning to have a look.

This is an offset screwdriver. Everyone should have one of these.

Looked in the depths of my tool box and found that I have a craftsman offset. Tried it this morning and it didn't work. The interior screw set I have, the 3 screws fit great at the speaker, but I can't get one started at the vent. I'll have to get a slightly smaller in diameter screw. Plus 1 went down the vent. I also tried the 1/4 drive with phillips tip with no luck. I just can't get any leverage with my fat hands. I think I'll just wait until I get the windshield replaced before I scratch up my paint. Thanks everyone, for your ideas.
