I am building a small block stroker around 600+ horse. I want to let it breath yet still be on the moderate side sound wise I really don't want it too loud. This is a drawing of what I'm thinking will work. I'm going to use the race bullets as a resonator to quiet down the exhaust even more right as it exits. Do you all think this will work or am I wasting time and money? Thanks I've also posted this at FABO

I ran a similar setup on a 512 motor in a 71 Charger R/T. I did step the first set of mufflers up to 3-1/2" inlets (adapters front and rear to mate to the 3" pipes) to be sure it would not have too much restriction. I also installed a set of exhaust cut-outs behind the first mufflers so I could by-pass the resonators if needed. Never needed to, car ran the same numbers with or without the cut outs open. Sounded more radical with them open, so I opened them for cruise nights.

I would eliminate the Bullets(save the weight and $) and mount the Ultraflows at the rear bumper My system is that way with 14x3 oval Magnaflows mounted at the rear bumper, very quiet until WOT and then not really loud My car only picked up .04 ET in the 1/8 mile by removing the system, 6.98 versus 7.02 hooked up. My pipes are three inch from the headers to the muffs, I think the weight made most of the ET change
