Bob, send me pics. I'll put different boots on the wires. Obviously the boots were the wrong types. I have 4 or 5 dozen different types of boots I can put on, depending on your header system. If yours are cracking, they surely are the wrong ones for your application. It's not the wires fault that the boots are wrong. Please send us some pics of the side of your engine. I've got some new high-temp boots available, plus if something is close, there are numerous heat-shielding options out there.. Give us a chance to make the boots work for you. Do you have the 8mm or 8.5mm ?

I think that Doug is going to call you. This isn't from heat damage. It just looks like it fatigued from pulling them off. There are more than one cracked.

We used that filter just to get the system primed!!! I wont be running that filter! No way.
My plumber is a buddy Norm who is the head fabricator at Schumacher
