A local guy has a 75 Imperial and NY and I am wondering if there is anything that is nice to have off of these cars? He is using it in a demo derby. It has rear disc brakes-might these be useable? ANy other suggestions?

I assume it is an 8 3/4? I doubt there were any sure grips available right? I have not seen the unit yet.

Most, if not all, went to 9.25's in 74. About a 1/3 had S/G's and about a 1/4 had RWDB. Plenty of parts available because so many trucks and Jeeps had them. Been proven to be stonger than an 8 3/4 but it just don't get any respect.

Any nice trim or interior parts would be good to snag, probably not worth anything but nearly impossible to find.
I had a 74 Imperial that went the same route a few years ago, clean body with no rust and 58k miles but it had been sitting since '78, the mice ate the wiring and interior from '78-'93 while it was garaged and from '93-05 the sun and location where it was stored destroyed the paint/interior and aluminum trim after it was moved outside.
