I have heard that the #250 cylinder head was only used on the `68 Road Runner. A certain small white book lists both of these heads with the same part #, the only difference stated is that the 250 head was only used in `68. Why the different casting # for 2 of the same heads. Just curious.

Can`t answer your question but I have a set of them. Wonder if there is a different.

Not much difference between 906 / 250.Might have been intended for trucks,certainly not exclusive to Roadrunner.
