Seems I've seen one before but I'm drawing a blank, I know you can do the old Tranny line style flare but I'm curious about the mushroom headed flare the factory used on the rubber hose ends of the steel line. Prefitting subframe connectors I decided it will be best if I route the line on pass side away from the E-brake rod and vent tube, the connector will compress all 3 together and thats a in my book.
thanks

A basic double flare kit will do it. Extend the tube farther than usuual and use the "button". With the right press, it will make a "bubble" or "mushroom". Practice on scrap tube first!

Okay cool, I was under the impression there was a certain flare the factory did that a tool wouldn't duplicate I just dunno which one it was, as long as I can get a nice bubble flare I'll feel good about it. thanks
