Okay, Wife just traded her TL 6 spd for a R/T classic FC7 6spd and we have the $2000 incentive to spend in 30 day s for the mopar accessories. Sooooooooooo, what is the the best bang for the buck? We are thinking of the Cat back exhaust and the cold air intake, CAI, also the hood shocks in lieu of the lame hood prop. Can she expect any MPG gain from the Cat back and the CAI? She drives very mildly and is already getting 17.4-17.5 MPG on the first tank.
Thanks!

Yes, you will see gains from those two upgrades.

I would either to the breathing or the mopar suspension setup. Make it handle better.

I hear the go wings are available, not sure if they are through chrysler or after market. T.A. hood would be different and look nice.

Ouch!!.. 1970 Go wings don't belong on 1971 Challengers, they need Gull Wings.

Start a little savings account for shocks and springs when the stock shocks wear out.

So what shocks should I save for?
I am leaning towards Eibach springs later but at a loss for what shocks to go for as there are many different types such as Koni, KYB, etc.
Also how long do the stock springs and shocks last? Car rides awesome from new, just hoping it does deteriorate rapidly.

Nice car, I like it a lot. For me, it don't matter if it is original or not, as long as it looks good to me. I saw a GTX with a six pack scoop mounted backwords that looked awesome. It wouldn't bother me to run chevy spoiler, or scoop, or what ever on a mopar, as long as it looks good. I'm not all about being the same as every one else. No Ford parts though, I wouldn't do that to a mopar, not even if it did look good.

LOL.
You do know your Go Wing is the same one found on Ford's 1969 Mach 1 Mustang, only Ford used it first, so you actually do have a Ford part on your car

The black R/T Challenger isn't mine, I just like the look.
These are a couple of ours.
