What to do if your car doesn't have a power booster? Simple. Forget it! Unless you have a 5,000-pound wagon, you'll do just fine without it. You can tailor the pedal pressure to your liking by playing with master cylinder diameters. Smaller cylinder = less pedal pressure required. Larger cylinder = ”harder” pedal, less travel. In any case, if you are either staying with, or swapping to, a manual cylinder, be sure that the unit you use has the machined recess in the back of the piston for the rubber pedal-pushrod retaining ring. Most rebuilt master cylinders we've inspected all have this recess. Then, reinstall the pushrod salvaged from your original (drum) cylinder, with a new rubber retaining ring (Mopar p/n 2074960, discontinued, but they are usually supplied with most rebuilt master cylinders).

uca's, spindles, rotors, caliper adapters, hoses, dust shields, bearings, large bolts. EDIT cant get it straight in my head if 73-76 DRUM uca's use large or small ball joints so just compare your 72's to the 75's and you know in 2 seconds if you need the 75 uca's. I'm wondering about this on a deal here if the uca cams and tbars are untouched will the alignment still be good (the same) going from drum to disc.MORE EDIT if no sway bar issues put the calipers/spindles on the same side as you removed them so your hoses will fit & make for a much easier swap.

The 73 and later A body cars with 10 inch front drum brakes use a different knuckle than the 9 inch. The Disc brake UCA uses the larger ball joint, as does the 10 inch drum knuckle.
I have run several A body cars with the 73-76 disc setup, all without the power booster.

Franken does the 73-76 9" drum spindle use large or small upper ball joint?

As above, the 9 inch knuckle does use the smaller upper ball joint. It makes no sense to me that Mopar would have had 3 different front brake designs on the same vehicle at the same time. It would have much cheaper to just equip all models with discs. AR Engineering offers a kit to mount 4 piston 2nd gen VIPER aluminum calipers to the 10 inch knuckle... might be worth a look....

9" front drums were not available for '73-6. For '73-6 there were only 10" front drums or front discs and they both used the larger ball joints
