I have what I feel like is a Small block piece here but it seems a little snug in the "fresh" motor I have..I'm used to them slipping in and out no problem. You'll be out some more time/trouble but no damage done. He installed it then forgot to check the fit of the inter shaft or if he did he should not have let it go out the door that tight. live every 24 hour block of time like it's your last day on earth
