OK, I'm ready to put my 833 OD behind the 426 wedge my my 64 Polara, so I'm just double checking one more time...what I need is a bigblock truck bellhousing, right? Any specific year/part number, or will any of them work? Are there any other mods or parts I need to perform this swap? Car is currently 833 with small register bh, so I don't want to open this one up. If anybody has a bh they'd like to sell let me know. Thanks guys.

Machine the bearing retainer on a lathe to fit a '68 and newer (large bore) passenger car bellhousing.

You need to use 10.5" bellhousing in a 64 for stock clutch linkage parts to work.

Car has a 65 bh right now and I had to extend the lower arm a little to reach the fork. Are all the later bh 11", or did they still make the 10.5 into the 70's?

If you had to extend the z-bar arm, the fork pivot bracket inside the bellhousing is wrong. Use the bell you have.
