How many miles, how long have they been noisy? I consider all of the touted snake oil remedies to be just that but several people have sucessfully quieted lifters w Marvel mystery oil. YMMV. Myself I'd take each lifter apart, inspect/clean in solvent/dry/oil/reassemble as their may be dirt in there or 1 or more may be worn out or get another set and redo the cam breakin procedure. Take the valve cover off & w it running press down on each one on the pushrod end w a wooden hammer handle & see if it quiets any of them to ID a bad one. Noisy lifters will eventually just get on your nerves after so long.

It depends why it's noisey in the first place. If there is excessive valve lash like from a worn valve train. No additive will compensate for that.

Sorry for the late reply. Engine was done about 5000 ago. The noise goes away after about 15 minutes. I should probably check the adjustments on the lifters.

Yup, nothing you put in the oil will fix the wrong valve lash.
