I was working under my car today and noticed the front frame rails resting on the lower control arm bumper. What the heck happened there. I am 100% sure when I got the car aligned two years ago that they were not touching. What is happening, can the suspension just be settling in, or my torsion bars are getting weaker???

How much space should there be?

thanks

Torsion bars do get weak, I have seen settling (doesn't take long and car probably was bounced or driven enough), torsion bar socket crossmembers rust, etc.

I would check the T bar adjuster sometimes the threads get strip out.

Yeh I checked the adjusters, seem fine. I'm thinking the bars are getting weaker.
