Hi,I have a 426 block pad is stamp 426 V MP HC,casting # 2468030-1 date 6-17-64 is this a late 63 block or early 1964 block. Thanks

426 V MP HC

426= Displacement
V= 1964
MP= Maximum Performance (Max Wedge)
HC= High Compression (12.5-1)

It's a late '64 casting. Since the Hemi had already been introduced, a casting that late probably didn't make it into a car.

Right, it's either a later replacement engine (pretty rare) or someone has had thier way with the numbers stamps... Post some pics of the stampings and I can probably tell you which one you have.
