I am trying to set my alignment on my 40 dodge Squattie truck
here at home.
it has a dodge D50 chassis and the inside of the tires have been worn down pretty bad and they squeel on most turns.
so I have the front sheet metal off now and this front end uses shims to adj it, well both sides had about 3/16" of shims so I took them out and put it back together to move the top of the tires out.
well now I have it back on the ground and here is what I have.
I put a square on the driveway and set it up against the buldge of the tire and it touches at the bottom and on the pass side the square is 1/2" away from the upper buldge and
the driver side is 1/4" away at the top...
and if I measuere from the center to center of the thread it is 59" at the back of the tire and 59 5/8" at the front.
so I have a toe out issues.
does anyone know what I should have to be in the ball park???
I can't bring the top out any more, what could be done to get this better or is the top of the tire suppose to be in some
Ron....
