Alikazam super gas Joined: Mar 2003 Posts: 571 Beaverton, OR, USA	I believe they are pressed in, but I'm not 100% sure of that. Unless you have a race carb I don't think removal is common practice. I take it you mean the boosters (the bronze parts in the middle of each venturi), correct?

crowbait OP super stock C Joined: Sep 2003 Posts: 1,093 Brookville Pa	It appears to be pressed in towards the metering plate.I was wondering if anyone has sucessfully replaced one and had an operable carb when they were done. Its a holley six pack center carb,if it matters. thanks guys

Locomotion master Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 5,894 Florida	I read that a special tool is required to press them back in and probably to remove them too. The tool may also flare the end on the opposite side to hold it in place.
