A friend of mine has been trying to get me to go with a super charger on my next motor and I think I would like to give it a try. Other than the SC what good quality parts should I be looking for. I have a 400 block and some 440-1 heads/intake/ 1.6 rockers. I would be very interested in hearing some constructive suggestions to build a motor in the 700-800 hp range including best choice for the super charger. Street/strip '63 dodge post car. Predominantly street driven. Thanks very much, Mike.

Centrifugal. I'd like to know what cam choice is best as well as any other tips. I'd like the motor to live a long healthy life and the option of horse power without having to utilize valve train pounding components is perfect. I see some of the hyd. roller cams for a sc application are only about .530 ish lift ? Also, as I mentioned , the 440-1 heads will be a good match? Thanks for the responses so far.

Valvetrain choice is going to depend more on cam and how high you want to rev it than hp level. It all depends on how extreme you want to go. 700hp can be done boosted without a roller cam.
