getting front end together on Duster, I have the 1 piece mushroom shaped poly strut rod bushings. So far I have them on the rod, with the washers, inserted through k frame and the outter washer and nut on, but shooting WD on the bushing to help it though while i pry on the outter washer to tug it though, about half way it it doesn't budge anymore. also tried removing rod and popped bushing in thinking it may need to colapse where the rod would be to fit..no dice either.

Any suggestions?

EDIT, it hit me, I was able to take the Ball joint socket, the 2 strut washers, a long headbolt, and a nut, and press it on with that and the poly lube.

thanks for reading.

I believe they are the Just Suspensions (yellow box that displays the red bushings)

in the past when I got rubber ones at the parts house they were shaped just like these.

Put the bushing in the K member first, then put the strut rod in the bushing, otherwise forget it and get the two pice units.

They say there are no such thing as a stupid question.
They say there is always the exception that proves the rule.
Don't be the exception.
