I've used the 1403 dull aluminum and it looks good, has anyone used a clear coat over it, how did it look?

Krylon is a laquer and isn't durable at all. However, I've done wheels (for a trailer) with it and was happy with the results. Give the wheels a good coat of self-etch primer and have at 'em. If they chip you can touch them up with the spraybomb and the touch-up will blend right in (about the only good thing about laquer).

All Krylon is not laquer, this is Krylon 1401 Bright Silver enamel.Has been on these wheels since I finished the car in 1992,hasn't changed a bit.
