Personally I thought it sucked, even watching it on TV and I hope that they got that out of their system and just get back to NORMAL racing.... enough of the dog and pony show..... if they want to be like NASCAR they better get into something else......... JMO

I didn`t care for it myself and behind the "a$$ kissing" from some of the racers, I don`t think they cared too much for it either. As hard as it was for me to focus on the racing I can only imagine what the racers were going through.

Couldn't agree more but the problem is if it brings in more spectators/money then NHRA is going to be pressured to continue and expand the format. Word is that Vegas is planning an additional two lanes as well.
Well if the teams decide to not show up at that type of format I would think that NHRA would HAVE to listen and as a spectator I wouldnt care for it... its hard enough to watch a pair of cars.... yeah I'm sure alot of the spectators thought it would be cool to be at the FIRST ever 4 wide but they soon seen it was a pain in the butt..... again just my opinion

I want to see the class racers race it . Even the super gas ,super street throttle stop and judge your opponents and your stripe .It would get it done quicker if thats the game . Dr

I liked it! I'm tired of Pro-Stock being determined by the reaction time, and I'd support anything to liven up the sportsman classes. Like mentioned earlier, good luck judging your opponent. I'm sick of Space Shuttle looking cars and the endless banter of sponsor names. NHRA is so far out of touch with the average Joe, who cares if they mix it up! Like Monster Trucks, Top Fuel will soon go the way of Pro Wrestling! Is John Force really much different than Vince McMahon???
I'd love to see Vegas do the same. Can you guys imagine the antics that it would create at the Turbo Poopra race they do out there. Hell, most of those guys stage with the rear wheels; it would be pure comedy to see 4 of them at once!
Later,
Greg
