I posted this over in the truck forum to no avail. I just bought a 2002 Dakota with power locks and windows, cruise, heated mirrors, fog lights, etc... it's loaded sans leather... However, the owner said he never had a key fob. I am the 3rd owner. Is it possible or likely that the truck has all this, but no keyless entry? I find that hard to believe. Where exactly can I find this reciever and how do I go about getting fobs to work. Thanks.

The parts dept in dealership should be able to tell you and the dealer will have to program the fob if it has that option

Lock the door with the switch and shut it. If you see a red light flashing on the dash you have it.

Thanks Earlybee.... technically, if I left the window down, and opened the door, would the alarm go off? Or is that a Fob actuated thing? I'll check what you said. Thanks.

Like I told you in the "truck section" if you have power locks you have remote locks, you can't get one without the other. You have to get the a fob and have it programed. Either the 1st of 2nd owner either lost the fobs or kept them.
