I have a vibration when I let off the throttle when going through the lights. Under hard acceleration I do not notice it, but driving with hand controls I am not really looking for it. Ladder bar car. Tires have been ruled out. Automatic trans. Solid motor mounts, etc. It just seems excessive you can feel it through the whole car. My trans builder told me never to bump it into nuetral so I wonder if it isnt just the load up through the engine. Any ideas what to check? Some vibration may be normal, just not sure. Galen

read my thread titled "Pinion angle vs Operating angle" I'm chasing a vibration as well, and there's LOTS of info there to learn!

from what I read on the tech archives...if it vibrates under decel, but NOT acceleration, then your pinion angle is too deep and needs to be rotated up.

but...that's not always a guarantee. read my thread, learn all the responses that have been given so far, and ask away!
