Hello- is there a source where I can find more information about my car if I only have the VIN and no fender tag?

I don't mean registration info, rather I would like to know what it was originally equipped with but the fender tag is gone and all I have is the VIN.

Thanks all.

And it will cost you $45.00 for the information. If you're lucky you'll get barely legible photo copy of the the IBM card and how equipped but don't expect it to contain everythihg you're looking for.I actually had more information on my 62 savoy wagon than I got from them.

Interesting, thanks. Probably a decent deal for $45 since I am very curious of my car's original equipment.
