The 60304 513/533 will run fine in 906 heads. I run that cam in mine. Super nice cam. Great street maners and makes a ton of power.
My heads are "stock" I don't want to pull the heads and have the valve guides trimmed. From what I've been told max lift on stock heads is .510,and that is close.

From what I've been told you can't run a .513/.533 lift cam on stock heads with out trimming the valve guides, the retainers will hit the guides ?? Is this true ?? Does anyone have any opinions on the comp cams I listed ?? Has anyone run them, how do they perform, idle ??
Hughes Engines has a Whiplash cam with .519 lift. They say it will run with stock heads, no work on the heads needed. But the valve springs are another thing...

I run the Lunarti 513/533 with stock heads. I have no issues with anything hitting. Car runs super strong.
Well now I'm confused, everyone I asked said .510 lift was the max you could run on stock heads with out trimming the guides. I like the lunati cam thats the one I want to run. I guess I'll have to pull the valve cover check the valve guide to retainer clearance to be sure ?? Is rhode Island where your from, how are you doing after all this rain !!

I just wiped the #8 intake lobe of my MP509 cam. The lifter looks as if it stuck a little, rotated, stuck again rotated and then stuck for good. Lifter looks like it was put on a grinder. I'm looking at the Lunati cam also. Are you running adjustable rockers or the non-adj type?
My 440 .030, 10:1cr, eagle crank, eagle rods, hyperutectic pistons, eddy heads, eddy 2x4 w/2 600s on it. I'm wondering if I'm being to radical with the 60304 cam? I probably won't be at the track, mostly street driving. Any ideas/suggestions?

i run mine with stock mopar rockers. Non adjustable
Dougsmopars, thanks for the info. I just want to be able to drive to California if I want to. However, I want some grunt and good sounding Mopar engine.
I am leaning towards the Lunati cam. I will have to change my sprocket to a three holer, but no problem there. May as well do it up right.
Again, thanks for the info..
