There was a recent post for rust removal involving vinegar and lemon juice. It works wonderful, but my question is how do you stop the flash rusting once you remove the material from the solution? I can take out the pieces and within 60 minutes, they already have a light coat of rust building up on them. Suggestions PLEASE!!

Never tried vinegar and lemon juice, but baking soda neutralizes many acids.

Spend $20.00 for a gallon of Evap-o-rust and you won't have that problem

*As mentioned, baking soda works to neutralize the acid, then an immediate coating of oil, etching primer, or other topical to seal the surface.
