Well my Jacobs ignition system finally died after 12 years. I just bought an MSD digital 6al-2. When setting the timming do you guys just rev the engine up until the muti-spark turns off?
My old ignition I could turn the multi-spark off to set the timing.

I use an old sears timing light (not a dial back) that is not affected by the MSD. Don't know how or why it works but it does.
