Will be putting my new trans with a brake in soon [904] , and wanting to know if a mid plate, with solid motor mounts will be OK. Been footbraking for a couple of years now with just the solid motor mounts. And at what point do you need a trans shield? I will be putting a trans blanket on anyway, so which blanket would be suggested? car currently goes 11.20 @ 118, with 1.54 60's. Thanks, Matt

i run the roadrunner with a brake and no mid plate with solid mounts and rubber trans mount, no problems at all.

i did put my shield on at the same time as the brake, just for safety. good luck

You need at least a blanket at 10.99. Flexplate sheild at 9.99.
